This must be what it feels like to be in an event city. It’s slightly overwhelming, and it’s easy to be concerned that you won’t be able to get to everything.

But most of all, it’s exciting and its fun.

Some Stockton music and entertainment fans are probably feeling that way this week, as the city is hosting several events and shows at about the same time on Friday. You can’t be at every show, but you’ll most likely have fun no matter where you end up.

And 209Vibe is here to help you decided where to go. Here’s a look at some of Friday’s hottest destinations. If none of the following fits your interests, the Stockton Ports also are in town:

Downtown Stockton Art Walk: The monthly art walk draws about 500-1,000 people who kick off their weekend by checking out the work of local artists in businesses and galleries downtown. June’s art walk will feature photographs based on the theme Beautiful Stockton. As part of its Art on the Edge series, 209Vibe also will set up a temporary gallery in the vacant storefront at 116 N.
