Bobby Valentino tops on Recordnet.com
Posted January 14 at 05:16 PM
Since the 209Vibe print edition ceased publication (pour a little out, holmes) I've been spending more time on my other/new full-time job as a Web content producer for Recordnet.com, the Stockton Record's Web site. I've had the opportunity to do more with the site's entertainment section, which is great.
Recordnet.com is a behemoth next to lil' ol' 209Vibe, and it's allowed me to give more exposure to the local entertainment scene. I'm now able to post stories on both Recordnet.com and 209Vibe.com.
And local entertainment fans - as well as others visiting Recordnet.com - seem to appreciate the content. As of right now, 209Vibe writer Renee Icasiano's coverage of Bobby Valentino at Matinee is the second-most viewed story on Recordnet.com today.
It's gotten more pageviews then a story about the death of embattled former high school football coach Tom Verner. It's also become bigger than a story about the Stockton city budget deficit.
You can check out the story here.
And while you're on Recordnet.com, give me your suggestions in my name-the-dolphin contest! - Ian Hill
